Interior Blog Awards 2016!

If you follow me on social media you may have noticed that the voting has just opened for the Interior Blog Awards 2016. I apologise in advance, but until voting closes on the 9th of September, you'll quite possibly see me asking regularly for votes. But then it will be over, so please do stick around. Don't leave me!

Whilst I'm already thrilled to have been nominated in the Best Design Inspiration category, I'd REALLY love to get through to the shortlist. That would mean that not only would I get to go to the ball, well, okay the awards night, at Ham Yard Hotel here in London (beautifully designed by Kit Kemp), but I would be through to the bit that really matters - having the actual judges take a proper look at my blog.

But in order for that to happen, I need as many votes as I can muster. You can cast your vote by clicking on my begging, desperate, and somewhat smug face below (you should see the out-takes!). It will take you straight to my voting page on the Amara Interior Blog Awards website.

If you want to spread the word and ask friends, work colleagues and even your dog to vote, I really would appreciate it.

I love writing French For Pineapple, and getting some recognition for all the hard work that goes into it would be amazing. It would also bring with it some incredible opportunities that will enable me to bring you even more fresh, original content, that I hope is a bit different from what you might find elsewhere.

Oh, and I have some exciting posts coming up over the next few months - I'm in the process of re-purposing two rooms in the house. They're having a complete overhaul and I'm most excited. The 'before', including my plans and moodboard of what was the guest room, was on the blog yesterday - click here if you missed it! And you can always sign up so you don't miss my posts, way down there on the right.

I'll let you get on with your day now, after you've voted, obviously...
